The plunging prices are opening doors to consumers which have been all but closed for half a century to everyone except "right stuff" supermen and superwomen with names like John Glenn, Neil Armstrong and Sally Ride.

My guess is you have all got the news..."China's second lunar probe entered the moon's orbit on Saturday, eight days after the Long March 3C rocket carrying the Chang'e-2 blasted off from the launch centre, state media reported. The unmanned probe will start "scientific exploration activities soon," said the official Xinhua news agency, citing the Beijing Aerospace Control Center." http://www.spacedaily.com/reports/Chinas_second_lunar_probe_enters_moons_orbit_state_media_999.html

... my guess is you can see where this is going... a guy who started a company named VIRGIN is putting the average 'joe' into space while china is expected to start "scientific exploration activities soon."

The official "News of the Communist Party of China" in ENGLISH (russian, japanese, mongolian... also available).  Helping to make the CCPC more transparent.

There are often critical judgments that there is no transparency from Beijing.  Correct or not it helps if you speak the language and read the papers to have the heads up in what is happening in the Party.  If you have not deciphered the strokes, THEY HAVE for YOU! If that is not 'fair and balanced' then go to FOX News and ask them to translate Chinese for you.

The scientists determined the noodles were made from two kinds of millet, a grain indigenous

to China and widely cultivated there 7,000 years ago.

7,000-4000=3,000 years of ingenuity!
